The FIVE STAR© Wealth Manager Award Program's objective is to identify wealth managers in specific locales who score the highest in overall client satisfaction.

Under the Program, approximately 39,000 high net-worth consumers in the Seattle area and subscribers of Seattle Magazine were asked to evaluate up to three financial advisors, whom they knew personally.  The wealth managers were evaluated based on the following nine criteria: communication, knowledge and expertise, customer service, integrity, value for dollars spent, meeting clients’ financial expectations, quality of recommendations and overall satisfaction.  Both positive and negative responses were incorporated into the scoring and only wealth managers with acceptable compliance records and a minimum of five years of experience in financial services were considered.  The wealth managers deemed as finalists were then reviewed and finalized by a panel of ‘industry experts’ within the financial services sector.

The final list identifies the wealth managers who scored the highest in overall client satisfaction and represents less than 7% of the wealth mangers in the local market.
